Kentucky State Police is investigating after human remains were found in Garrard County.
Troopers responded Sunday afternoon at approximately 2:00 to a field off Crab Orchard Road (KY 39), between Lancaster and Crab Orchard, where skeletal remains were discovered.
The remains were transported to the state Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort for identification.
