
An earthquake struck central Kentucky early Friday morning.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the 2.6 magnitude quake hit at 5:12 Friday morning in Garrard County. The quake was centered about eight miles from Lancaster and originated at a depth of just over 10 miles.
The event lasted three minutes and was felt as far away as Frankfort, a distance of 56 miles.
There’s been no reports of damage or injuries.
