A man already charged in the death of a toddler has been accused of killing a baby three years ago.
Jordan B. Taylor, 22, of Corbin, was arrested by the Whitley County Sheriff’s Office in February in the beating to death of three-year-old Amoura Smallwood. The toddler suffered brain bleeds and blunt force trauma and was sexually assaulted.
Amoura’s mother and Taylor’s girlfriend, Alexandra M. Ward, 20, of Corbin, was indicted for complicity to murder and complicity to strangulation in the death of her daughter.
Taylor, earlier this month, was indicted for murder in the death of a Clay County baby in July 2020. The baby, according to a report by WKYT.com, was smothered to death.
According to online records, Taylor has been arrested at least 15 times since 2019 on charges including assault, domestic violence assault, theft by unlawful taking, first-degree terroristic threatening, public intoxication (excludes alcohol), possession of a defaced firearm, and menacing.
