Two men have been arrested in western Kentucky with 1,800 grams of methamphetamine and 50 grams of heroin.

The Henderson Police Department said the Henderson Joint Task Force, comprised of Henderson PD officers and the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, and Kentucky State Police executed a search warrant in the 1000 block of Amberfield Court, a residential neighborhood, on Monday.

During a search of the residence, police said officers seized over 1,800 grams of methamphetamine (63.4 ounces) and 50 grams of heroin (1.8 ounces).

Authorities arrested 53-year-old Joseph L. Wallace and 52-year-old Jeremy Booker, both of Henderson. Wallace was charged with importing heroin and two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine, heroin). Booker was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine).

The charges are enhanced due to the presence of a firearm.

Both suspects were lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center. Booker is no longer listed as an inmate, while Wallace is being held on a $250,000 cash bond.
