A man has been killed after breaking into his ex-wife’s residence.
Kentucky State Police responded to the shooting at approximately 2:30 Friday morning in the 6400 block of Friendship Road, about a half-mile south of Auburn in Logan County.
State police said the initial investigation showed that 56-year-old Timothy S. Wright, of Auburn, forcibly entered the residence of his ex-wife, Janice Wright. She retrieved a firearm and a struggle ensued, police said, and during the struggle, a round was discharged, striking Timothy Wright.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Logan County Coroner’s Office.
