
A second body in less than five weeks, and the third since June, has been found in Garrard County.
The Garrard County Sheriff’s Office said that on Saturday afternoon just before 5:00 a body was found on Burdette Knob Road in the northern part of the county.
The sheriff’s office said a “property owner was checking a remote area of their property when a body was discovered.” The body was removed by Garrard County Coroner Shane Young and transported to the state Medical Examiner’s Office for identification.
On October 22, human skeletal remains were discovered in the Tom Dorman Nature Preserve in Garrard County.
The remains were removed by the Garrard County Coroner’s Office and transported to the state Medical Examiner’s Office.
The Garrard County Sheriff’s Office is leading both death investigations.
On June 4, a body was found in a field off Crab Orchard Road between Lancaster and Crab Orchard.
Those remains were later identified as 47-year-old Glenn Caddell, of Lancaster.
Kentucky State Police is leading the ongoing death investigation.
