A man on the run after being accused of murder has been captured.
The Bowling Green Police Departments said officers, Kentucky State Police and the Bowling Green – Warren County Drug Task Force caught 37-year-old Quinton LaShawn Hampton, of Auburn, on Monday afternoon at a home on Memphis Junction Road, between Nashville and Russellville Roads.
Hampton was wanted in the Saturday morning shooting death of 30-year-old Darrius Wickware, of Bowling Green, at Brookwood Mobile Home Park at 1801 Morgantown Road. Wickware was pronounced deceased at TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital.
Hampton was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail where he’s been charged with murder.
