A Madisonville Fire Department fireman has been arrested on over a dozen charges related to child pornography and contacting minors for sex.
Kentucky State Police arrested and charged 46-year-old Henry W. Strader, of Madisonville, with 10 counts of procuring a minor by electronic means, possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, distribution of obscene matter to minors, and first-degree official misconduct.
Strader was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began its investigation after discovering Strader using electronic devices to procure a minor online.
The investigation resulted in search warrants being executed at two locations in Madisonville where equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination.
The investigation is ongoing.
Strader was lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center.
