An Allen County man’s death is being blamed on the heavy rains that fell on Wednesday and early Thursday morning.
Clarence Novosel, 56, of Scottsville, was found Thursday morning at approximately 10:15. He was located about forty yards from his truck that was possibly swept by floodwaters about 50 yards off the roadway in the 100 block of Blankenship Road, about nine miles south of Scottsville, according to the Allen County Sheriff’s Office.
Novosel was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
