A driver crashed into the side of Farmer’s Feed Mill Restaurant late Wednesday morning.

Wednesday morning at approximately 11:30, Leitchfield Police Officers Chase Melton and Greg Whobrey, the Leitchfield Fire Department and EMS responded to the scene at the intersection of Mill Street and Sequoia Drive after the elderly female driver, of Elizabethtown, accidentally drove her Toyota RAV4 into a wood overhang support system, destroying it in the process.

No injuries were reported by the driver, her three passengers, or restaurant patrons.

The overhang support system was replaced within about two hours.

According to the restaurant owner, the same type of accident occurred in the same spot about six months ago.
