A western Kentucky man has died in a crossover crash in Hopkins County.
The crash occurred Wednesday afternoon at approximately 3:30 in the 8900 block of Brown Road, about nine miles northeast of Madisonville
The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office told news outlets that the investigation showed that a westbound 2022 Subaru, being driven by 37-year-old Blane S. Metcalf, of Pack in McLean County, crossed the center line and struck an eastbound 2015 Chrysler, being driven by Angela Bialek.
Metcalf was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Hopkins County Coroner’s Office.
Bielek, who suffered unknown injuries, was transported to a local hospital.
