A father has been arrested after pointing a firearm at several people after an elementary school basketball game.

The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon at approximately 2:00 in the parking lot of Walton-Verona Elementary School in Verona in Boone County, according to a report by FOX19.com.

Following a grade school basketball game, cellphone video captured 28-year-old Steven Hamblin, of Kenton County, emerging from behind a mini-van and pointing a handgun at seven people, including children.

Hamblin pulled the firearm after an argument between the suspect and a coach over Hamblin’s son’s playing time.

Hamblin was later arrested at his residence and charged with multiple counts of felony wanton endangerment, unlawful possession of a firearm on school property, endangering the welfare of a minor, and tampering with physical evidence.

He was lodged in the Boone County Detention Center on a $200,000 cash bond.
