
Two people died when a vehicle crossed the center line and collided with a dump truck.
Kentucky State Police said troopers responded Monday morning at approximately 5:00 to the accident on Danville Road (Hwy 68) in Marion County.
State police said the investigation showed that 43-year-old Mahalia Brown, of Magnolia, Mississippi, was traveling west in a 2018 Toyota Camry when the vehicle crossed the center line and into the path of a 2018 Kenworth dump truck, driven by 49-year-old Christopher Perkins, of Campbellsville. The two vehicles collided head-on.
Brown and a passenger in the Camry, 20-year-old Benjamin Thompson, of Magnolia, Mississippi, died at the scene.
A second passenger in the Camry, 22-year-old Darian Thompson, of Magnolia, Mississippi, was transported to Spring View Hospital with serious injuries. Perkins was also transported to Spring View Hospital with minor injuries.
