An investigation is underway on Kefauver Road after a woman was assaulted and hospitalized.
Over the weekend, the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office and Kentucky State Police combined to make multiple trips regarding a domestic situation at a Kefauver Road residence.
Then, on Sunday night at approximately 7:20, law enforcement was dispatched to the residence on the report that a 48-year-old female suffered a vicious assault.
The female victim was transported to University of Louisville Hospital, according to Kentucky State Police Post 4 Public Affairs Officer Scotty Sharp.
The Kentucky State Police investigation is ongoing, Sharp added.
