Bowling Green man pleads guilty, sentenced for killing his daughter

A man has been sentenced for killing his daughter.

Damian R. Bowden, 52, of Bowling Green, murdered his daughter, 30-year-old Daquanna Bowden, at his apartment at Payton Landing in the 6000 block of Scottsville Road on September 9, 2022.

After killing his daughter, he fled the scene in her 2010 Volkswagon Tiguan.

The vehicle was found in Nashville the day after the murder. Damian Bowden was arrested in Nashville on October 18, 2022, by the U.S. Marshals Service after a six-week search, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

Warren Co. Sheriff Brett Hightower previously said Damian Bowden has a history of violence and drug addiction.

On Tuesday, Damian Bowden was sentenced to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to murder, tampering with physical evidence, two counts of theft by unlawful taking, and abuse of a corpse, according to a report by WNKY.com.
