An eastern Kentucky man has been sentenced to dozens of years in prison after police found photos on his phone of him “abusing a minor victim,” according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Kentucky.
Jerry W. Dunn, 60, of Corbin, was sentenced in U.S. District Court to 60 years in federal prison after being convicted on five counts of production of child pornography and possession of child pornography.
He must serve at least 85 percent of the sentence.
According to testimony at trial, Dunn engaged in the production of child pornography in September 2022.
“Specifically, a search of Dunn’s phone revealed photos of Dunn sexually abusing a minor victim,” prosecutors said.
The investigation was conducted by the FBI and Kentucky State Police.
