Clarence “Butch” Becker, age 80, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Tuesday, (April 28, 2026) at his home in Clarkson, KY. He was born on June 28th, 1945 in Wausau, Wisconsin, the son of the late Clarence
Sr. and Dorothy Becker.

Locally known as “Butch,” Clarence proudly served in the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam War, was a supporter of the American Legion, DAV, and Leitchfield VFW. He was also a mechanic by trade, working on heavy machinery, lawn mowers, farm equipment, and participated in several demolition derbies.

He is survived by two sisters; Betty Yonkee and Terry Nay Wildman and her husband Ronald; Four children, Kathleen (Glenn), Clarence III (Skye), Tonya (Erick), and Chester (April); A grandson Anthony Gribbins. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, five great-grand children, and several nieces and nephews.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his life partner Linda Perry; a daughter Clara, and a son Richard.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, (May 2, 2026) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Damon Lasley will be officiating. Burial will be in the McCandless Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday until time of services.
