A driver crashed into a school bus while the bus was loading a child in Ohio County.
The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to the crash on Wednesday morning at approximately 7:00 in the 13000 block of Hwy 231.
The school bus, according to police, “had stopped and was picking up a child when it was struck in the rear by a passenger vehicle.”
No children on the bus were injured. The bus monitor, though, was transported to Ohio County Hospital. The female driver of the passenger vehicle was transported to Owensboro Health, according to the sheriff’s office.
The investigation remains ongoing.
