On Saturday, the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man for committing several thefts in the Cromwell community.

Ohio County Sheriff Tracy Beatty said that Saturday night deputies located a suspect in the thefts, 33-year-old Jonathan Arnold, of Cromwell, in an abandoned building on River Road, in Cromwell. During a search of the building, deputies located methamphetamine and “items that tied him to thefts in the area,” according to Beatty.

Arnold was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property (under $10,000), possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center.
