A juvenile missing from Clarkson since mid-March ran from police Wednesday afternoon in Leitchfield.

The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office and Leitchfield Police Department are looking for 17-year-old Dylan T. McKnight. He disappeared on March 18, 2019.

Grayson County Sgt. Fred Norder spotted McKnight near the intersection of West Main Street and Fraim Street at approximately 3:45 Wednesday afternoon, but as Norder approached the juvenile he fled on foot. Although law enforcement quickly flooded the area with at least seven officers, McKnight was able to elude police. He was last seen by authorities in the Fraim Street/Thomas Street area.

McKnight’s appearance is significantly “scruffier” than the photograph accompanying this story; his hair is now longer and he has facial hair, according to police. He was wearing a black shirt and dark-colored shorts.

Anyone with knowledge of McKnight’s whereabouts, or with information that may be helpful to investigators, is asked to contact the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office at 270-259-3024.
