Kentucky State Police is requesting the public’s help in a murder investigation that began in December 2018.

On December 10, 2018, troopers were dispatched to Garland Cemetery Road in the Gray community in Knox County after human remains were found by a teenager riding a four-wheeler.

The remains were transported the state Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort where the body was identified as 34-year-old Adam Pinkley. State police said that based on the evidence, Pinkley was murdered “on or about May 31, 2018.”

He had been reported missing out of Laurel County.
