Leitchfield Utilities has lifted a BOIL WATER ADVISORY for a section of Leitchfield.
Utilities Superintendent Dwight Embry said the water samples taken from several sites have been analyzed by a state certified drinking water laboratory and were free of contamination.
The areas affected by the advisory were Brandenburg Road between Pearl St. and Goff Dr., including all of Goff Dr., Central Ave. and Pearl Street.
The advisory was issued after a water main break, according to Embry.
