Police have made an arrest in the murder of a Glasgow woman.

Melissa Miller, 54, was killed Sunday night around 11:00 at her Ann Avenue residence. She had been shot to death and was later pronounced dead at TJ Samson Community Hospital.

The male suspect was seen leaving the area in a white, four door sedan with a female driving.

The Glasgow Police Department said on Thursday, Aaron Aiden Rodriguez, 24, of Nashville, Tennessee, was arrested in Nashville and charged with Miller’s murder.

Police said Rodriguez arrived at Miller’s home under the guise of purchasing a computer, but instead shot her.

Detectives with the Nashville Metro Dade Homicide Division located Rodriguez and the vehicle at his workplace in Williamson County, Tennessee. He was taken into custody without incident.

The female driver has been identified, police said, and charges are pending.

Rodriguez was lodged in the Davidson County (TN) Detention Center on a $500,000 cash bond as he awaits extradition to Barren County.
