For the second time in about three weeks, the Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force seized a large amount of fentanyl immediately after the highly dangerous drug was delivered to a residence.

The task force arrested two suspects, 24-year-old Jahasha C. Kindred, of Louisville, and 50-year-old Sylvester Brown, of Chicago, on Monday afternoon in Radcliff after the men received a shipment of 218 grams of fentanyl pills via the U.S. Postal Service, according to a report by The News-Enterprise.

The suspects were charged with importing fentanyl or its derivates and trafficking in a controlled substance (fentanyl). Kindred was also charged with possession of a controlled substance (LSD), while Brown was additionally charged with possession of marijuana.

During a subsequent search of the residence, police located more fentanyl.

Both suspects were lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center on $75,000 cash bonds.

On July 21, Johntell L. Scott, 24, of West Point, was arrested by the task force immediately after he took delivery of several hundred fentanyl pills at his home.

When police searched the residence, they found hundreds of other pills matching fentanyl Percocet fraudulent pills, along with pills that matched the pills Scott had just taken delivery of.

He was charged with importing fentanyl, trafficking in a controlled substance (aggravating circumstances, fentanyl), trafficking in marijuana and acquiring property from income derived from trafficking in a controlled substance.
