A Warren County man has been jailed after police found he was in possession of at least 150 child porn images.
William Ransom Bennett, 35, of Bowling Green, was arrested Wednesday night by Bowling Green police and charged with 150 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.
Bennett’s arrest stems from a report from Google to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that made its way to the Bowling Green Police Department. The report indicated Bennett owned an account with images of nude girls between six- and 11-years-old. The images showed the girls posed in a sexual manner or being sexually assaulted.
“Bennett admitted to being the owner of the Google accounts under investigation and admitted to intentionally obtaining and (viewing) material which depicted minors engaged in various sex acts,” Buss said in the citation, according to multiple media reports.
He was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.
