Kentucky State Police is investigating the death of an Edmonson County toddler.
On Monday, troopers were requested to investigate the death of a two-year-old boy. The toddler had been transported to Vanderbilt University Children’s Hospital where he was pronounced deceased, police said.
Kentucky State Police detectives responded to a Brownsville residence to “process the scene.”
The cause of death has not yet been determined, state police said, and an autopsy has been scheduled.
The investigation continues. No other information has been released by state police.
