A former Warren County deputy jailer has been arrested for “inappropriate sexual conduct.”

In late April, “Kentucky State Police was requested by Warren County Jailer Stephen Harmon to investigate a complaint of inappropriate sexual conduct involving a former employee of the Warren County Regional Jail,” state police said in a press release.

The alleged incident[s] occurred in September 2021.

On May 24, after an investigation, the findings were presented to a Warren County Grand Jury which issued an indictment warrant for 28-year-old Aaron Bommarito, of Franklin, for third-degree sodomy and first-degree official misconduct.

Police said that on Thursday, an additional indictment was returned charging Bommarito with three more counts of third-degree sodomy.

Bommarito was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail but is no longer listed as an inmate.

Bommarito, according to police, only worked for the jail for three months after which he “left the employment of the jail.”
