Human remains have been found near Zoneton, a small community in northern Bullitt County just south of Hillview.
The Bullitt County Sheriff’s Office said the remains were found Monday evening, April 29, on a property off Old Preston Highway North, just north of Little Flock Baptist Church.
A person bushhogging discovered the remains.
Police are currently “going through known missing persons reports while working with the medical examiner’s office to try and identify the individual,” the sheriff’s office said.
