Grayson County’s Ellie Bratcher recorded her 400th career strikeout in a win over John Hardin on Tuesday evening.
The sophomore hurler leads the team with an ERA of around 5.00 and five wins.
In the last week, Bratcher also pitched a five-inning no-hitter against Breckinridge County.
Her talent goes beyond the circle as she leads the team in hits, stolen bases, and walks.
Bratcher and the Lady Cougars will return home on Thursday evening for a matchup with Edmonson County. The team will honor its two seniors, Reagan Nash and Layla Lacefield, before the game
