The Owensboro Police Department is investigating after a man was shot to death Tuesday night.
Police responded to the 1000 block of West Eighth Street at approximately 8:30 Tuesday night after receiving reports of gunshots in the area. Upon arriving, authorities found that 34-year-old Kevin D. White, of Hopkinsville, had been shot multiple times inside a residence. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Daviess County Coroner’s Office.
Owensboro PD spokesman Lt. David Powell told the Messenger-Inquirer that no suspect has been identified and that detectives are working to determine what White was doing in Owensboro.
