A Barren County man is in jail on three attempted murder charges after allegedly firing a weapon at a moving car.
The Barren County Sheriff’s Office says they were called to 6039 Dripping Springs Rd. on Monday afternoon after receiving a call from a man who said that his wife stole his car and was attempting to run him over.
While en route to the scene, the BCSO was told that the Glasgow Police Department had made contact with the wife. The vehicle she was driving had multiple gunshots throughout it.
At the scene, police made contact with the caller of 911, Stephen Tang Jr., 33, who told them he attempted to stop his wife from leaving and when she drove around him, he fired a weapon towards the car.
The news release said that there were two males also in the vehicle at the time of the alleged shooting.
Tang was arrested at the scene and charged with two counts of attempted murder, a count of attempted murder (domestic violence) and tampering with physical evidence.
He was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
