Bro. Allen L. Mudd, age 59, of Millwood, KY, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, October 27, 2021.
He was born on March 21, 1962 in Louisville, KY, the son of Ernest Mudd and his late mother, Linda Hardin Mudd.
He was a master plumber and owned and operated Allen Mudd Plumbing. He also was a school bus driver for the Grayson County School System for seven years. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, camping and pulling tractors. He greatest past time was spending time with his grandkids and having family gatherings. He was the beloved pastor at Spring Lick General Baptist Church. “I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course. I have kept the faith.” II Timothy 4:7.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Hardin Mudd of Millwood; his father, Ernest Mudd; children, Stephen Mudd and his wife, Jennifer, Daniel Mudd and his wife, Andrea, and Amanda Tomes and her husband, Josh; eight grandchildren, Nicholas, Gracie, Matthew, Levi, Olivia, Taylor, Jackson and Riley; siblings, Betty Probus, Ricky Mudd and wife, Sandi, Malinda Snell and husband, Kenny, James Mudd and wife, Lanette, all of Caneyville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Mudd, brother, Jerry Mudd and nephew, JT Mudd.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, (November 3, 2021) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. His two sons, Bro. Stephen Mudd and Bro. Daniel Mudd will have the honor of officiating his service. Burial will be in the Allen Mudd Family Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
