A Leitchfield man has been arrested after police responded to a man with a knife threatening residents on South English Street.
The incident began at 12:15 a.m. Monday morning when the Leitchfield Police Department and Grayson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in the 500 block of South English Street.
Upon law enforcement arriving at the scene, they took the suspect, 36-year-old Joshua J. Colon, into custody after witnessing him with a knife in his hand.
He was lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center where he has been charged with first-degree criminal mischief, a class D felony, and menacing.

Colon, according to online records, was previously arrested in Grayson County in April 2023 for second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree disorderly conduct and alcohol intoxication in a public place.
