Three Elizabethtown men have been arrested and charged with the murder of a Vine Grove man in a drug deal set-up.
The Radcliff Police Department responded to an apartment complex parking lot at 1508 Pin Oak Court Wednesday morning at 12:25 and found 25-year-old Larshard Harrison dead of multiple gunshot wounds. After an investigation, Radcliff police arrested 20-year-old Tyler Lawrence, 22-year-old Elijah Barnett and 27-year-old Donayle Jones and charged each with murder, according to the News-Enterprise.
Police said the three suspects admitted to setting up a money for pills drug deal in order to rob Harrison. After the pills for cash exchange, Barnett and Jones shot Harrison, while Lawrence also shot at the victim. The suspects then took the cash they paid Harrison for the pills and fled in Jones’ vehicle, the newspaper reports.
All three suspects are being held in the Hardin County Detention Center on $500,000 cash bonds. In addition to the murder charge, all three suspects are also charged with first-degree robbery. Lawrence is additionally charged with tampering with physical evidence.
