Two of Grayson County’s Most Wanted arrested by drug task force

Two of Grayson County’s Most Wanted have been arrested on over 40 drug- and theft-related counts.

Wednesday morning at approximately 12:30, the Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force arrested 43-year-old David E. Wease and 38-year-old Tricia T. Rigdon, both of Falls of Rough, at a residence in the 5000 block of Hwy 1401, about 10 miles east of Harned. The two suspects were arrested on indictment warrants out of Grayson and Hardin counties.

Two weeks ago, Grayson County Sheriff Norman Chaffins issued a plea for help locating Wease, as the sheriff said he was a danger to the community, “whether it be from dealing drugs or stealing things.”

According to the indictment warrants, Wease was charged with three counts of trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine, methamphetamine, heroin), unlawful possession of a meth precursor, four counts of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine, methamphetamine, drug unspecified), having a prescription controlled substance not in its proper container, two counts of receiving stolen property (under $10,000), being a persistent felony offender, four counts of being a persistent felony offender, three counts of possession of marijuana, and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Wease was also charged with tampering with physical evidence after he attempted break through a wall and dispose of a bag containing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia as he was being arrested, according to the arrest citation. He was additionally served with three failure to appear warrants.

Rigdon, according to the indictment warrants, was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), unlawful possession of a meth precursor, three counts of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine, drug unspecified), having a prescription controlled substance not in its proper container, receiving stolen property (under $10,000), being a persistent felony offender, two counts of being a persistent felony offender, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, public intoxication (excludes alcohol), and criminal trespassing.

According to the arrest citation, Rigdon was also charged with complicity to traffic in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), complicity to possession of marijuana and complicity to possession of drug paraphernalia.

She was additionally served with a failure to appear warrant.

Both suspects were lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center, Wease on a $250,000 cash bond, Rigdon on a $10,000 cash bond (50 percent cash).
