After one-year hiatus courtesy of the COVID-19 pandemic, Leitchfield’s annual Memorial Day Parade will return in 2021.

The parade, one of the county’s most popular events, will be held Saturday morning, May 29 at 10:00.

“County veterans who lost their lives during service to our country will be honored as family members and friends carry signs bearing their names,” Tourism Director Ilsa Johnson said.

The parade will begin at Leitchfield Fire Station No. 2 at 207 South Main Street, and continue to the Centre on Main at 425 South Main Street.

Dr. Timothy Caboni, president of Western Kentucky University, will be the featured speaker.

A free meal, sponsored by Grayson County Fiscal Court, will be served following the ceremony.

For more information contact the Centre on Main at 270-259-5587.
