A Glendale woman was arrested Tuesday afternoon and charged with stealing a Chevrolet 2500 truck and then fleeing police.

Brittany Adair-Goodman, 36, was charged with fleeing or evading police and theft by unlawful taking after she stole the truck from behind Whistle Stop restaurant in Glendale, according to a report by The News-Enterprise. Police soon located the truck, with Adair-Goodman fleeing until Kentucky State Police set up spike strips, bringing the chase to an end near the intersection of South Dixie Highway and Sonora Hardin Springs Road.

The newspaper reports that police have viewed surveillance video of Adair-Goodman taking the truck.

She was lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center on a $5,000 cash bond.
