Officials release identity of Leitchfield man killed while installing antenna

The identity of the Leitchfield man killed while installing an antenna has been released.

The Grayson County Coroner’s Office said the victim was 41-year-old Kenneth Pence.

The Leitchfield Fire and Police Departments and EMS responded to the 600 block of Leavette Avenue Thursday afternoon at 4:30 and found Pence unresponsive after he came into contact with a power line while installing an antenna at a residence.

Life saving measures were undertaken, with Pence transported by EMS to Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center. He was pronounced deceased by Deputy Coroner Larry Holeman at the hospital.

The Leitchfield Police Department is leading the investigation.
