Hardin Co. man dies after Toyota is struck by SUV in Elizabethtown

A Hardin County man has been killed in a crash in Elizabethtown.

The Hardin County Coroner’s Office said 29-year-old Devyn Vittitow, of Elizabethtown, was killed in a two-vehicle crash, according to The News-Enterprise.

The wrecked occurred at approximately 7:00 Thursday morning in the 2400 block of Ring Road. Vittitow and three other people were in a Toyota that had just left a Valero convenience store when the vehicle attempted to turn left and was hit by an SUV.

One passenger from the Toyota was airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital with serious injuries, the newspaper reports. The other two passengers were transported to Baptist Health Hardin.

The female driver of the SUV was also transported to Baptist Health Hardin with non-life threatening injuries.

The Elizabethtown Police Department is investigating the crash.
