A body has been found floating in the Ohio River near Louisville.
Louisville Metro Police Department spokesman Aaron Ellis told news outlets that on Monday afternoon at approximately 3:40 police were notified by the U.S. Coast Guard of a body floating in the river about six miles from downtown Louisville.
LMPD’s River Unit located and recovered the body.
An autopsy was scheduled to determine the cause of death and possible identification.
