One person was killed and another airlifted after a motorcycle crash in Breckinridge County.
The wreck happened on Monday afternoon at approximately 3:30 in the 14000 block of Hwy 144 near Union Star, the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Office told WXBC.com.
The motorcycle’s driver, 44-year-old Ronald Meeks Jr., of Battletown, was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Breckinridge County Coroner’s Office.
His passenger, 44-year-old Darla Jones, of Cloverport, was airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital where she’s listed in critical condition.
In addition to the sheriff’s office, the Hardinsburg Fire Department and Breck Central EMS responded to the scene.
