3 Ohio Co. men busted on drug charges after police raid Utica home

Three Ohio County man have been arrested on felony drug charges after a raid on a Utica home.

Ohio County Sheriff Tracy Beatty said his office conducted an investigation into methamphetamine trafficking/consumption at a residence on Mahaney Lane. A search warrant was obtained and executed by deputies and Kentucky State Police on Sunday where deputies found methamphetamine, marijuana, several firearms, and drug paraphernalia.

Police arrested 53-year-old Joseph Ward, 48-year-old Johnnie Roach and 62-year-old Bob Hatler, all of Utica, and charged each with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).

Ward and Roach were also charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine) cultivating marijuana, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The three suspects were lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center.
