4 new COVID cases in Grayson Co. Schools

Grayson County Schools on Monday said four more coronavirus cases have been diagnosed within the district.

The district, on its COVID-19 Dashboard, said the four new cases include a district employee and three students from Clarkson Elementary School.

No one will be placed in quarantine due to the positive tests.

On Friday, K105 reported seven new cases of the virus had been confirmed: three Grayson County Middle School students, three Grayson County High School students and one Wilkey Elementary School staff member.

Currently, there are six active cases within the district, according to the COVID-19 Dashboard, with 64 people in quarantine: 54 students, 10 staff members.

Since December 1, 10 cases of the virus have been diagnosed within the school system.

There are approximately 4,000 students in the district along with 600 staff members.
