Caneyville Elementary School’s Academic Team has followed up last month’s victory at District Governor’s Cup competition by taking top honors at Region.
The Purple Flash placed first in the Future Problem Solving (FPS) event, and third in Quick Recall. Clarkson Elementary School took second in Quick Recall and third in FPS.
In addition, there were multiple top finishers by district students in individual assessment categories. Those include:
- Mathematics: First place Jane Bohannon (Caneyville)
- Science: First place Trinity Clemons (Caneyville); third place Keilan Hayes (Lawler Elementary); fourth place Jace Moore (Clarkson)
- Social Studies: Fifth place Landry Crowder (Clarkson)
- Language Arts: First place tie Trinity Clemons (Caneyville); fourth place tie between Jane Bohannon (Caneyville) and Landry Crowder (Clarkson)
- Arts & Humanities: Second place Jessy Smith (Caneyville); third place Gabby Stevenson (Lawler)
- Composition: Third place Kady Cook (Clarkson); fourth place Charli Johnston (Clarkson); fifth place Leah Helvey (Lawler)
